There are many web developers out there who underestimate the value of a gooduser name. I have several accounts on line at various web sites, each with a different user name, and it is nice to have something that allows me some sort of anonymity and protects my identity from terrorists and ivory poachers.
Lots of people can be very protective of their user name on certain internet web sites and discussion forums, and if they see somebody else who they are sure are not themselves using it without their permission then they can get quite angry and hostile towards this person who they feel has wronged them in one of the most personal and savage ways possible.
The user names of all these various individuals are held on the site's web Server, which should be protected by all kinds of Internet Security protocols and programmes to provide hackers getting hold of lots of top secret classified information that they really have no business in reading. There are times however when the server is just overloaded with all the web traffic and simply cannot cope with it all, so it becomes slow and unreliable. Much like a tortoise.
Actually, that's a vicious slur against tortoises there and I apologise most profusely. Yes, they are slow, but that's not their fault in the least, it's just the way nature intended them to be from the start. I'm really rather fond of tortoises, now that I come to think about it. They're pleasant, friendly little creatures, at least in my own personal experience. In fact it's not commonly known but many tortoises do design internet security software, because they end up with a lot of free time since they don't move very fast (ooh, there I go again with the racial stereotyping!) and are extremely intelligent and good at keeping things safe. I would trust any tortoise I know to develop an internet security programme for me. Or even a web server. I would then steal the tortoise's idea and take all the credit for their work and make lots of money too.
