Joy of being a freelancer

Taking a career as a web designer is not that easy as one has to struggle a lot in getting unique website designs.If one is creative, he can definitely create some catchy website designs.For others who are not that very creative, it does take lots of time to become a good web designer.To get the right color combinations, design and getting everything right so that it attracts people is lot of work and one has to be totally dedicated into this if he is serious about becoming a successful web designer.I started my career by learning graphics and those day's all my class mates were busy dating on-line.It was so exciting that i also got into dating on-line sites knowing so many females around and having also copied their pictures and saved it in my desktop.My desktop was full of all girls pictures and it was also not well organised.Later on, i reduced my activity on dating on-line and removed all those pictures in the desktop to keep it clean.I became more serious in learning website developments instead of wasting my time on those dating on-line sites.It took my 2 years to become a professional web designer and since then i have been developing web sites for various companies, individuals etc.I worked for a company as web designer for 3 years.Later i left the company and started working on my own working as a freelance web designer.I was getting local projects in the beginning and had to move out to meet the clients who were in need of websites.Now, i do handle many overseas projects and don't have to move around a lot here.There are many sites offering web projects as for them it will be an advantage to get their project done at a much cheaper rate than getting it done by giving the work to a company.I have the flexibility of working longer hours as i can also handle any number of projects according to my need and also my time.If i do have more time, i do work more.This is the joy of working as a freelancer as you can be your own boss.
