I have the greatest admiration for people who choose to become a web developer when they get older. Creating websites and advertising on-line their creations takes alot of hard work and alot of patience. I myself have tried to create a website that would allow me free advertising on-line, I figured it would spare me the ten dollars a month I pay to advertise on other peoples websites but I just couldn't seem to grasp the concept. Icould barely understand what certain words would mean, i ended up having to surf the web for definitions. Don't get me wrong I love getting to surf the web but i love it more when I'm doing it for something fun. The other day while cyber surfing I actually found an instructor who can teach surfing at the beach for fifty dollars a class. The instructor was clearly smart enough to know advertising on-line would get him good business for his discount surfing lessons. web developers just always seem to have so much to do. At one point i even considered doing that because I did not know what it really was and I had thought it may be for people who like to surf the web but man surfing the web has nothing to do with it. And really that is all i ever use the net for;finding things I want, watching music videos, downloading music, chatting with friends, researching work, or having my kid research homework are all I use my internet for. Kind of pathetic I know but at least I'm not trying to meet someone so I can go on a date with a complete stranger. i would never do that. But I do monitor my daughters use of the web, I know how dangerous cyberspace can be for a kid. I allow her only an hour on the internet a day for homework but no more. Whenever she wants to download a song orwatch a video I insist on being there withher. I also am sure to make sure her father keeps to these rules and doesn't try to surpass me.
