I was interested in web software development. My business was at an age where I felt it needed a space on the world wide web. We made furniture. We had a decent size client list. However we felt we could do so much moreOn my desktop computer I had a ton of ebooks. I wanted to keep myself busy because I imagined it would take a lot of effort to realize my dream. My business partner was more hands on with the business.

This was a good for both of us.I clicked the folder on my desktop and read through various ebooks. When I needed a break I'd surf the world wide web with no real expectations. It was relaxing having no real purpose.I did notice however I was getting a lot of pop-up adverts on screen. I was quite annoyed by this. I always felt these pop-up ads are intrusive. I wasn't sure what we had installed on the computer so I looked on the desktop for anything that could block them.

Not surprisingly I found nothing so I did a search on the world wide web for pop-up blockers. I saw many listed on various sites and for various prices. I didn't know what to do at this stage. I eventually chose one after reading a positive review online. The software cost me twenty pounds, however it seemed to work like a charm. I would be the first to admit I don't know if it was a good deal or not because I'm not well versed on the technical side.

I also have limited knowledge on software.Still I decided to think no more about it. The ads were gone as far as I could tell and that was good enough for me. There is much I love about technology and there is much I hate. However the one thing I really liked was what it could potentially do for my business. Well, ok 'our' business. I decided the best way forward was to hire a professional web designer.

I was blind in that I didn't appreciate how much it would cost - however, I knew that I wanted it done by a professional. I knew that the Website would represent the company, so I decided there would be no cutting corners.
